Youth and students are one component in society that can play an important role and continue the relay of Indonesia's sustainable development in the future. Success in building education will significantly contribute to the achievement of overall national development goals. Indonesia's development plan also mentions Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

One form of implementing the contribution to Indonesia's development from Indonesian students studying in Taiwan is the annual scientific forum, namely the Indonesian Scholar Scientific Summit. This annual scientific meeting becomes an opportunity to publish the results of creativity, knowledge, technology, and human and financial resources to help achieve the Sustainable Development Goals. This scientific forum is one of the actual roles of Indonesian students and researchers in Taiwan.

Indonesian Scholar Scientific Summit (I-3S) is the Agenda for the annual meeting of Indonesian students in Taiwan. This activity aims to build unity, networking and atmospheric scientific between Indonesian students in Taiwan. In addition, it is hoped that this forum will be able to produce recommendations/resolutions that can be contributed to the progress of Indonesia.

Participants came from Taiwan, Indonesia, United State of America, Australia, Thailand, and Malaysia.
